The floating social bar plugin is a free Joomla extensions that will insert a horizontal bar with four social sharing buttons into articles, under the title. The plugin enables four social buttons and insert them under article title. While scrolling the social bar will stick to the top of the screen, floating above the content. This makes the sharing much more easy.
Compatible with Joomla: 2.5, 3.x
The use of this plugin is very simple: download the zip file and install it to your Joomla system. After successful installation go to Extensions > Plugin Manager and activate it. That is all!
There are also options available for the plugin: you can choose to show simple buttons or display the number of likes in a bubble right next to the button.
We made this plugin to be compatible with Joomla 3.3 and also for Joomla 2.5, however in the 2.5 version you will have to check if the jQuery library is loaded. You can enable or disable the library in the plugin options if needed.
